My journey as a documentary filmmaker began with the recognition that narratives concerning Africans were either absent or portrayed through a lens of weakness and negativity. Motivated by a desire to rectify this perspective, I embarked on a mission to unearth the authentic stories of global history, spotlighting the significant contributions of Africans and Indigenous peoples.
